This was the best move that could have happened. The advantage of more parking and more inventory space has been a great help. A reward of up to $1000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for an assault that occurred near the intersection of Buffalo St. and Grove St. in the Town of Farmville on April 15, 2012. At approximately 12:30 a.m. two male subjects were walking on Grove St., near the intersection with Buffalo St., when two vehicles stopped nearby. Two black males exited the vehicles and assaulted the two men. The vehicles were described as being a small silver colored sedan and a white Chevrolet pickup with gold trim. The sedan was being driven by a black female. One victim had to be transported to Centra Southside Community Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
